Precision Camera & Video came to us with three goals: (1) Promote their 40th anniversary, (2) Increase traffic and engagement across their social sites, and (3) Increase traffic to their annual Expo. We created the Precision Camera ‘Capturing Austin’ campaign, a two-week scavenger hunt and social media blitz. Each day for 14 days leading up the the Expo, we tweeted an Austin landmark location where a Precision Camera employee was waiting. In order to win fabulous prizes, our audience was asked to be the first to find the employee and mention the campaign by name. The Capturing Austin campaign blew up, resulting in record traffic to, and engagement on, Precision Camera Facebook, Twitter and YouTube destinations. The campaign was so successful that it led to coverage on KEYE-TV, a line out the door prior at the Expo, and our client calling it the most successful promotional campaign in her five years at the company.
